This week has been crazy with birthdays: my friend JP turned a young age :), E turned 1, Laura turns 20 tomorrow, my cousin and her brother turned 20 and 23, and I am privileged to have 4 birthday buddies on monday. TJ, Angie, Brittany and myself. I never knew 8/29 was such an awesome day! I’ve had several different people ask if they could get me anything/what I wanted for my birthday. I am simple. I am not asking for anything from anyone. I never really do anymore. I hate receiving gifts because I feel like it puts that person out. Plus I am past the birthday party must give gifts age.

If you want to get my anything (and this is not my asking, just answering those who have asked) you can help me reach the $ I need for a plane ticket to Kenya. That would be more than enough, and my heart would thank you for years. I shall write a blog post on the Eldoret blog after I meet with our church pastor body next month about money. But either way, the plane ticket is my responsibility. Like I said, this is not me asking you to get me anything!
