Lately life has been pretty predictable for me. Up for work, gym, church, x-files with mom. That’s been about it. I have a habit of falling into a rut and just coasting there for a bit. Normally, I end up doing something drasticly different just to shake things up.

For instance, the start of February I decided to quit at Lifeway and start watching 2 babies. Its been so rewarding but an intensely crazy month and a half. Its for sure a way to learn patience, peace, flexibility, how ungodly you are yourself. We are starting to get into a much better routine. This has been the best week yet.

Also last month I went out on a whim and got a perm. Which I might add, I should have done years ago. Apparently everyone loves it. I’ve never been given so many compliments. Thank you so much.

This months change isn’t really all that drastic to be honest, its just something new out of my comfort zone. I’m going to start doing a Zumba class with my friend Jacky on Saturdays. I am not a dancer. I can act goofy and flail around, but when it comes to rhythm and coordination – I am out. So… this should be a sight to see.

But then again the month is still young. I’ve still got plenty if time to come up with something crazy to do.

This month, on the 26th, Grafton will be one!!!  Oh my goodness. Where has the time gone? He was only 5 months when I started watching him. Its crazy. I didn’t realize how super attached I’ve become to him and his family. This really has become more than a job. I love them. This summer is going to be hard to be away from him – but then again I will be nannying 2 preteens so that should be a fun change all in itself.

Lastly, I was so excited to have a chance to have a good chat with my friend Martin last night. I’ve missed him lately. Pray for him please. He should be done with the marines sometime between October or April (long story)… can’t wait to hug on his neck. Sorry this post is so bouncy.  That’s the joy of my mind.
