so yesterday I ended up washing my hair in the kitchen sink with grafton playing with the doggie door and elynn in the bumbo on the counter next to me… because, g thought it was funny to pee on me when I changed his diaper. not just on me like he’s done before. on my face. and neck. and in. my. hair. yeah, that was a first. i’m so thankful i work in a place where i can wash myself when things like that happen.
i’ve been working on the 30 day facebook challenge, and it’s been really fun. i’ve enjoyed thinking about the answers to the questions that i wouldn’t normally think about. it’s making me re-evaluate my brain lately. after i’ve done the whole thing on there i may post the days with their pictures on one long post on here. i know most everyone who reads this is also my friend on fb so you will have already seen it, but then again there are a few people (like my grandparents) who keep up with us through this. plus, it will be nice years down the road when i’m not on fb anyone to be able to look on here and see my answers.
also, i updated my life list page on here. see: i’m just so boring. i’m hoping to link an album on my snapfish account with a link to a picture for each thing i’ve done. i think that will be fun also. plus i’m sure there are some things on that list that people don’t know. :)
anyways, that’s enough ramblings from me. thankfully dad wasn’t in the path of any of the tsunami’s from the earthquake last night/this morning. we had a somewhat stressful day though because it was late in the afternoon before we heard anything from him. and mawmaw and pawpaw were pooping out bricks with worry. sadly, there are lots of people who don’t have that same joyous attitude. i leave with a tweet my friend tj sent out today and it made me think of how true this statement really was: “Christianity is the only religion where one can look at devastation around the world and be both sad and hopeful at the same time.”
