I have NO clue what the title of this even means… it was just the first thing that popped into my head. We have had a real interesting weekish here at our house.

  • I fell off the wagon with WW about a week ago and I knew this past week was going to be challenging with all the get togethers I had planned for Halloween. According to my house scale I only gained about 2 or 3 pounds, not a TON but more than I would have liked. Tomorrow starts a new WW week and I’m hitting it hard. Exercise at least 4 days a week and back to eating right and tracking everything. Plus I am trying a touch of South Beach with it as well: no breads, noodles, rice, potatoes or bread. That won’t be to terribly hard but then again it will. Also I have GOT to cut down on my sweets intake. That’s my killer right there.
  • Saturday I saw a stray dog walking around across the street and he almost got hit by a car. It scared the MESS out of me and I knew I would be traumitized if he was actually hit. I went across the street and brought sweet brown dog home. He has no teeth so I ran to the store and got some wet dog food for him. He was BEYOND malnurished. I mean we could count and see every.single.bone. in his body. Now we cant keep sweet brown dog because our other 3 spoiled brats dogs are a handful themselves. Anyway we have kept him until we figured out where he is going, to a no kill shelter in Elmore who will find a home for the precious dog. We’ve been feeding him 3 meals a day: 1/2 can wet dog food and 2 cups dry dog food and he’s already put a little cushion back on him. We even trimmed his nails so he could walk better. I wish I could keep him as my dog, I’ve kinda taken to him and him to me. He even has planted himself on a blanket right next to my side of the bed at night. SO. PRECIOUS.
  • For halloween I went to a SS pirate party. I went as VooDoo Mama Juju and had so much fun. We had a costume contest, fun food, a treasure hunt (which team 1, that I was on, WON), a pirate plank walk, and just fun fellowship. Pirate Red Beard won the costume contest with a real sword and a legit hand hook. It was a goodnight and I’m happy I went even if my pirate fell off my shoulder and broke.
  • On Halloween night I went on a Haunted Hearse Tour. Yes, you did read that right. Our original reservation was for last Wednesday but there was some pretty serious rain and the wipers just stopped working. We were lucky enough to get rescheduled for the twilight hour on Sunday. :) SO AWESOME. Some friends and I decided to go in costume, and I made a Scooby Doo get up. When I get a picture from Janie I will put it on here. 6 of us squeezed into a renovated 1981 Caprice Hearse named Hilda and toured some of the haunted places in our city. Some of the stops included the Capital building, Huntington, Oakwood Cemetary, Old Cloverdale and several other places I don’t remember. The tour guide is a retired police officer and he was funny. Hillarious. It really was lots of fun and it was only $10 so even if it failed it wasnt like I spent $100. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
  • Lastly, I’ve been toying with the idea of moving out and buying my own house. I’ve been looking around at some homes in the Dalraida and Capitol Heights area. Of course I am still in the very early stages of filling out paperwork for a pre-approved mortgage but it’s been interesting and we shall see what doors the Lord opens.

I think thats about it other than the fact that I still LOVE being around G all day. He’s pretty much fantastic.
