Behold our God

This upcoming Sunday morning will be my last week in choir before the move. With so much going on, and a limited number of days left to worship with my church family I decided to take all of June off to enjoy the awesome church family I am part of. We sang this song last Sunday morning at church and I almost started crying. David has a habit of having us sing one of the last choruses as a capella and it gets me every time. Just listening to the whole congregation singing Him praise with our voices. I get a chill just thinking about it. [I have a small aversion to a capella singing just from going to a Church of Christ college and being told so much that any other style of worship was  not in the bible and was therefore wrong. Some of my college experience was not lovely. BUT ANYWAY.] I LOVE IT. The words = amazing.

And here are the words:

Who has held the oceans in His hands? / Who has numbered every grain of sand? / Kings and nations tremble at His voice / All creation rises to rejoice

Behold our God seated on His throne / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our King—nothing can compare / Come, let us adore Him

Who has given counsel to the Lord? / Who can question any of His words? / Who can teach the One who knows all things? / Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds?

Behold our God seated on His throne / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our King—nothing can compare / Come, let us adore Him

Who has felt the nails upon His hands? / Bearing all the guilt of sinful man / God eternal, humbled to the grave / Jesus, Savior, risen now to reign

Behold our God seated on His throne / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our King—nothing can compare / Come, let us adore Him

[men] You will reign forever [women] Let Your glory fill the earth [X8]

Behold our God seated on His throne / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our King—nothing can compare / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our God seated on His throne / Come, let us adore Him / Behold our King—nothing can compare / Come, let us adore Him
