We started our Christmas music in choir tonight. Oh my gee. Talk about amazing. One of my favorite pieces already is from “The Messiah” called Behold the Lamb. I need to get a copy of that book home with me next week to type out the words for you. But, in our few minute run through I had chill bumps. I was speechless. I was in love. With music. My beloved-overly-blessing church. With where God is leading me in life. With my Savior, though you wouldn’t know from my life more often than not. With my friendships. With who I have become recently, seemingly overnight.

I’m not the same and I’m thankful for Christ, for walking to the cross. For dying for my wretchedness. For the undeserving gobs of grace I get daily. For my comforter, friend, and King. For the blessing of a job – and one that I love and desire to go to daily.

Then I walked outside and I wished I had a good camera with me. There is a huge storm rolling in and the lightening was outrageous. It looked like a colored strobe light going crazy all around me. The sky was that strange red/orange/yellow color. The kind of atmosphere a couple years ago I was sure was what was ushering in the rapture. It was beautiful to think that God was orchestrating the whole thing. I just sat in my car for a couple of minutes watching. It was nice to drift off while watching that wondering how different that same exact scene will be playing out this time next year across the world. Lord grant me patience and peace as I wait for You to guide and direct my steps.
