child at heart

We are 3 months down into the 9 month time of dad being in Korea. He will be home exactly 6 months from today. I can’t believe it’s already been 3 months. I’m sure we have talked to you and filled you in about all of these, but if not, here are some things you have missed (in no particular order):

• Reid Ward came to be our youth and family minister
• Brown dog passed away
• PawPaw finished chemo and radiation
• We spent a day at the beach, Gulf Shores with Beni and Charlene
• Joey started a new job at Tallassee Super Foods
• Grafton turned 1
• Mom started her new job at Case Management Ect.
• I finished paying off Faulkner and am less than $5000 in debt
• Mom and I gave the old bathroom a make over

And here are a couple things we are looking forward to that we will keep you up to date on:

• I will actually receive my diploma
• Joey will turn 21
• PawPaw will have a tumor removal surgery
• I will turn 24
• You and mom will have a 25th wedding anniversary
• Joey and Laura will have a 1 year anniversary
• Mom and I are going to work on revamping a couple rooms in the house: new bathroom, den, dining room and we are working on the living room a little
• Mom and I are going to paint a couple rooms in the house
• We plan on starting the deck soon. We are killing the weeds now. should plan on laying the sand this month.
• I plan on running a 5k in May

I know this is a stupid post because you know about most of these things, but it’s actually helpful to me to remember you aren’t here so I need to keep this blog more up to date about the things we are working on so you will know. I will try to take some pictures of the old bathroom with the new changes for you.
