child at heart

So I am a bit mad a wordpress at the moment. I had decided to go with The Avett Brothers over A-ha, had a good bit of my post typed up and was looking on youtube for the songs I wanted to show you. Every time I tried to make a new link for a new video, wordpress would freeze up for a crazy amount of time. (I’m not even joking, like 10 minutes)… So, I finally got real mad. Ctrl+Alt+Deleted that mess, task manager quit program wordpress, then reopened and decided to go with my second choice because they pretty much have this one good song [or it is the only one I like] and that way I wouldn’t have to be on here long enough to get mad again.

I love this song because it is fun, and simple, and spunky. Plus, listening to joey try to get that high on Rock Band is priceless. I will try to record it some time. :) I had not seen the video until about 3 weeks ago. Granted, this was probably the best they were able to do on a shoe string budget when it came out. But I do like it. It’s fun and really helps out the whole story of the song any way.

And, because I am feeling a little squirrely I think I may do a second song. This is something I had never heard of until joey introduced it to me on Rock Band. I don’t care how many times he shows me video and pictures of the singer, Laura and I have decided that is NOT a man. There is no way that voice comes from someone with a male anatomy. At least not one that is God-given. I have no clue what this song is about…. I am not actually certain that anyone really does. The tune is very catchy though. I want to play this every time we pull RB out, and joey gets tired of me requesting it. I just can’t seem to help it. Crazy I know.
