hodgepodge of a post…

i all of a sudden feel like i have 4673767305786 things stuck in my head that i must type out for you all to read…

im joining weight watchers this month, just because i NEED something to help control and change my binge eating habits. and last time i was on WW i did great.
i am officially a nanny. legit. i went to an open house for Brandon and Kathy’s new house yesterday and thats how i was introduced to all their friends and family. and i know thats what i am really a nanny but hearing it come out of their mouths to others made it stick i guess. and it kinda stopped me in my tracks for a minute…. like i am a nanny. responsible for this child daily. i am a nanny! but it also made me happy at the same time.
i slept in this morning…. until 8a! isnt that funny because sleeping in for me used to be like 10a or so.
yesterday i bought season 3 of supernatural for us to watch for a marathon today! we have been netflixing it and are hooked, there is no other word for it. and since we would not be getting any on the mail since its a holiday i just decided to break down and get it. good choice on my part by the way. i went to junior high with the guy at FYE that was checking us out and he did the sweetest thing since we “go way back”. he gave me his employee discount and we got $5 of the season. so sweet of him. i wouldnt believe it.
SO EXCITED we have cable now. we have disovery channel now…. and in case you dont know what excitement and awesomeness that holds let me spell it out for you. DIRTY. JOBS. WITH. MIKE. ROWE. :) thats all.
we had lunch yesterday with the eastwolds which was a story in and of itself. our 15 minute wait for a table of 10 turned into 45 minutes. and our food wait turned in to an hour. so we left church at 12:15 to head to Olive Garden and left finally at 3p…. LAME SAUCE my friends. it was not a fun time for management, and long story short dad got his food free since he had to leave to do some errands before his food even came to the table and then he politely called and explained the days situation. it was fun because we got to hang with laura and martin and the rest of the clan and have some sweet fellowship, however it was ridiculous what it took to get that sweet time.

last but not least here is the nintendo party! we had 5 main rooms: living room was pacman, den was donkey kong, kitchen was based off the mario brothers game, joey’s room was based off star fox and the hall was rainbow road from mario kart 64. some of the pictures (like the hallway) didnt turn out as good as i would have liked but i had fun just the same. we had a costume contest and the winners were great. they had some good costumes. Alaura came in 3rd place as link from zelda. andrew came in 2nd as link as well. and caleb came in 1st as luigi. we had several type of enterainment; rockband, n64 and a super nes. over all i REALLY enjoyed the night and we had some great costumes come through the door. here are the pictures…. enjoy!
