child at heart

I was trying to type up a recap and fill everybody in on whats happened since september but I am giving up on that. I will try to do better…. but here are some exciting things that have happened since September 2009.

• October 2009: Spent 2 week in Southeast Asia loving on some precious children in an orphanage and it caught my heart for real. It was real hard to come home… but then again it always is.
• January 2010: I started my last full semester of college classes as an undergraduate student. I never thought this day would come and I couldnt wait to start back up.
• April 2010: The Lord blessed me again to go to Chifeng, China and spend 2 weeks in an orphanage and love on some special needs children. This one was the hardest to leave by far. I wanted to bring a little boy home for good, I call him beaver.  Ive never wanted my own son more that I wanted him to be my son. Ugh it was beyond hard to leave this precious little one.
• April 2010: Mom and I started a garden. Its pretty simple right now, just some fruits and veggies but we are hoping it will grow like crazy so we will have ALL the healthy foods we  can imagine. We have already even picked out some things to try next year if this one ends up being a success!
• Again April 2010: I was able to walk in Faulkner’s 2010 Graduation Ceremony, even though I will not be officially done until July. Either way, it was pretty awesome.

I am now applying for several jobs, and missions opportunities. We shall see what the Lord has in store for this new chapter of life.
