I just received some incredibly exciting news. I am not sure of the exact date (I think it is December although I could be wrong) but my sister Gakii from Africa will be getting married this year!! :)
Thankfully she is not practicing the culture there in the marriage ritual, which is to get pregnant (if possible to see if the female can have a child to pass on the family name) and then get married. They are waiting until they are married to have “relations” and are trusting in the Lord that she can actually conceive.
I am beyond excited for them and am hoping I will see her, and meet him this summer when we go back.
